Gillingham battled back from two-goals down to secure a dramatic injury-time point at Deepdale on Tuesday, which wasn’t looking too likely to be the case at half time with Preston well in control.

This two-two draw makes sure that we saw our the season unbeaten against a side that may well secure automatic promotion, although we dealt their chances a blow…. Not that we care!

You can see more like this on GFCofficial.

Preston went into the lead when Beckford (36) scored, having been set up by striker partner Garner and then in first half injury-time Robinson (45+2) had the hosts well on the road to victory.

Hope was restored when McGlashan (58) scored, to continue his impressive end of season form, to reduce the deficit but defeat was still looking likely.

That was until injury-time when Pritchard’s cross was headed home by Legge (90+1) to earn us a point!
Rochdale (h)
We’ll be looking to take extra confidence from this comeback point into our next game against Rochdale and ideally build on it with a win, but will we?
