Gillingham moved into the League 1 top 10 following the one-nil win against Rochdale on Saturday, which saw them end with nine-men following two the sendings off of two players at Priestfield.

The win not only saw us move up into ninth, a placing we’ll now be looking to consolidate between now and the end of the season, but it also ended any hopes that our visitors had of making it into the play-offs.

We took an early lead when Dack (14) was able to get onto the end of Loft’s corner to head home the only goal of the first half, in fact the only goal of the game of course!

Rochdale lost their first player when ‘keeper Jones went for a foul McDonald with the second red going to Lund who saw red on a rare start for Rochdale for a foul on Dack and we saw out the win against the nine-men.

This win also meant that we won back-to-back game at home for the first time since February.
