After last week confirming that there was interest in Delroy Facey this week they have confirmed he isn`t returning their calls.
It would appear that the Gills striker may have gone AWOL with him not answering his phone to anyone from the football club.
Talking to Kent Online manager Mark Stimson said: “Everyone has rung him and left messages. We don`t know where he is.
“It`s a shame because as well as looking after ourselves, we could be doing him a favour by getting him a job elsewhere.”
It is hoped that Facey will make contact with the club or turn up for pre-season training and start a fresh.
Stimson added: “There`s no punishment, just get in touch. The chairman, myself, my assistant and the physio have all left him messages.
“He can help us and we can help him. Delroy has got a year`s contract left with us and someone out there is willing to give him a two year deal.

When are Gillingham returning to pre season training? Seems daft that he’s not having any contact when there is still a year to run on his contract.
they already have returned to training, he’s done a disappearing act to attract interest i would say.

strange… but to be honest none of us are really bothered too much about him dissapearing, he will turn up eventually then leave us for someone else!
