Another month comes to an end with Gillingham back in league 1 action, this weekend we’ll be in action at home.

Gillingham welcome Port Vale to Priestfield this afternoon as we looked to open up a bit of daylight between the relegation zone and ourselves.

Peter Taylor brought in Max Ehmer and Harry Lennon on loan from Queens Park Rangers and Charlton respectively this week and they could both come into contention after Kortney Hause returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Michael Doughty (suspension) comes back into contention too after serving a ban but Joe Martin (suspension) misses the third game of his sending off after his sending off against Crawley Town in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy recently.

Port Vale will be without Chris Lines (suspension) after a sending off last weekend. Alex Nimely arrived this week but could be lacking match fitness.
