Hot on the heels of one cup-tie Gillingham are back in action in another cup competition on Tuesday night with a home game in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Gillingham, following the FA Cup defeat, are on a run of 10-games without a win in all competitions so Peter Taylor could desperately do with a morale booster against Crawley Town at the Broadfield Stadium.

Crawley will be without Dean Leacock (suspension) but have Mat Sadler (ineligible) back in contention. Marvin Elliott (groin) is doubtful and requires a fitness test.

Taylor could stick with Stuart Nelson in goal after Millwall loanee Stephen Bywater (ineligible) missed our two-one defeat to Bristol City on Saturday.

Callum Davies (leg) is still being troubled by injury with Amine Linganzi and Adam Morris still out with Luke Norris (knee) struggling to be fit in time.
