Gillingham can now rest easy, the win over Bradford on Saturday made sure that we’ll be in League 1 next season beyond a doubt. Tonight we look to upset Preston’s promotion bid at Deepdale.

We’re sitting pretty in midtable but are still more than capable of finishing in the top 10 if we can string some results together, whereas Preston’s outside chances of winning the title dictate that the need to win this one…. A runners-up spot is more likely, but that will be dealt a blow if we beat them tonight!

Preston could have Paul Huntington (head) back but Jack King could keep his place in a settled line-up that hasn’t seen them beaten since January, in fact only Man United in the FA Cup have beaten them!

Justin Edinburgh isn’t likely to rush Joe Martin (hamstring) back for this one but it is possible he could be in the squad, more likely that Danny Galbraith (also hamstring) will be though.

Luke Norris (stomach) should be fit as we look to build on the one-nil win on Saturday.

Most would expect the home side to win, a point would represent a good return and mean that we’ve prevented Preston from beating us this season but can we add Preston to the Bradford scalp at the weekend?
