The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Walsall and Gillingham this Saturday.

Gillingham travel to Walsall on Saturday November 18 for the game at the Banks’s Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Andy Haines
Assistant Refs: Nicholas Barnard and Richard Bartlett
Fourth Official: Abbas Khan

Match Day referee Haines has officiated 17 games in 2017/18, showing 46 yellow cards and two red cards already.

He took in 37 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was seven yellows in the game between Bradford City and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 27 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 86 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Oldham and Swindon in April with a total of nine yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
