The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Wigan Athletic this midweek.

Gillingham travel to Wigan Athletic on Thursday January 7 for the game at the DW Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Scott Duncan
Linesmen: Ollie Yates and Steven Rushton
Fourth Official: Graham Salisbury

Match Day referee Duncan (Northumberloand) is yet to officiate a Gillingham game this season.

He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and zero red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Mansfield Town and Accrington Stanley with seven yellow being shown. Prior to that Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City in August saw five yellows being shown and that matched his first game of the season between Coventry and Wigan where the same number of yellows appeared.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
