The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Oldham Athletic this weekend.

Gillingham travel to Oldham Athletic on Saturday February 20 for the game at Boundary Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: David Coote
Linesmen: Alf Greenwood and Andrew Newbold
Fourth Official: Alix Pashley

Match Day referee Coote (Nottinghamshire) is yet to officiate a Gillingham game this season.

He has however already taken in nineteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 77 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Port Vale on October 24 with a total of six yellows being shown plus two reds. He also showed six yellows and two reds in February’s clash between Chesterfield and Peterborough.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
