Gillingham head to relegation threatened Leyton Orient today looking for something to make sure that there’s no chance we can be dragged back into that relegation dogfight.

We should be save but our form hasn’t been great recently and couple more defeats on the trot and it gets to the ‘squeaky bum’ time doesn’t it, so getting something at the Matchroom Stadium today should end those lingering doubt….

Leyton Orient’s Dean Cox (groin) needs to be assessed but it’s thought that he’ll be fit with Lloyd James set to continue his return from a broken leg. Romain Vincelot (knee) and Adam Legzdins (shoulder) both miss out again.

Cody McDonald was rested against Crawley and stayed on the bench for the Good Friday defeat against Fleetwood but should come back into the starting XI today, probably in place of Luke Norris.

Doug Loft (calf) and Bradley Dack (back) were fit to face Fleetwood and should be fit to continue.

We’ve not got too much to play for now this season, we can make almost certain of this fact – and remove any slight chances of being dragged back into a relegation battle – with something today, but will we manage this?
