Gillingham built on the Sheffield United win last weekend and the win against Peterborough in midweek, in Justin Edinburgh’s first in charge, with an impressive win at MK Dons on Saturday.

The Gills were twice pegged back at Priestfield but we still did enough to extend our unbeaten run with a four-two win.

We got off to a flying start when Dack’s layoff gave McDonald (9) then chance to beat MK Dons ‘keeper McLoughlin with the visitors level just before half time when Man City loanee Cole (36) made it one-one with half time approaching but minutes later Dack (38) restored the lead.

Two could have become three but McDonald was denied by the post, with the aide of a touch from McLoughlin before a Hoyte foul on Barker gave MK Dons a penalty – Reeves (67) equalised to level it up at two-two.

McLoughlin couldn’t keep out Garmston (75) effort with our lead restored 15-minutes from with no comeback possible this time when Dack created another, his pass to Marquis (81) was fired home by the Millwall loanee to complete the four-two win.

Attention now moves away from this game and turns to our next one against Yeovil and we are looking for your view on what way this will go?
