Gillingham, having announced the arrival of Justin Edinburgh as our new manager ahead of the game, made it five unbeaten with a home win over Sheffield United at the weekend.

With the new manager looking on, the caretaker team took charge for ‘one last time’, two late goals were enough to give us a two-nil win at Priestfield on Saturday.

You always want to win at home but a draw with a side pushing for promotion, that’s beaten several Premier League team in cup competitions this season, wouldn’t have been a bad result so a nil-nil draw would have been taken….

That is how the game looked to be going until a late goal from McGlashan (86) put us ahead, we made sure of a two-nil win, and all three-points deep into injury-time when McDonald (90+4) lashed home.

Attention now moves away from this game and turns to our next one, as Edinburgh takes charge for the first time, against Peterborough and we are looking for your view on what way this will go?

Select the option that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that game, and this game itself, with some views below….
