The third, to make absolutely sure, goal came from substitute Doug Loft in the last minute with the visitors ending with 10-men when Bradford sub Nathan Clarke saw raw with the Bantams up to second.

The above video shows the highlights from this game.

These were the other results.

You can’t look much further, when going through these results than the seven-one thrashing dished out by Chesterfield to Shrewsbury at the Proact Stadium with new boss Danny Wilson enjoying a great afternoon! Coventry were another high scoring winning side, keeping their promotion bid going with a five-nil win at struggling Crewe.

A good number of impressive three-nil wins with Gillingham, Doncaster and Walsall gaining the points by such winning margins over Bradford, Southend and Walsall, respectively.

Burton’s one-nil win over Blackpool, coupled with Walsall’s heavy (and surprise) defeat at the Banks’s Stadium saw the Brewers return to the top of the League 1 table with Gillingham’s win at Priestfield taking them up to 2nd.

Gillingham are back in action ion Thursday when the head to Wigan.
