Jepson Pays Tribute to Saunders

Assistant Manager Ronnie Jepson has paid tribute to Mark Saunders following his struggle to overcome injury.

Saunders made his first start of the season in the LDV Trophy clash with Crawley after being on the injury list since breaking his leg in August last year.

‘You can trust him with your life,’ said Jepson. ‘You know what you are going to get out of Mark Saunders when he puts the shirt on.

‘He always applies himself in the right manner and that is the type of person we need at this football club.

‘You know you can rely on the Mark Saunders’ of this world.’
