Anton Robinson was snapped up on loan by Gillingham from Huddersfield on transfer deadline day.

Robinson, who enjoyed a successful spell with Bournemouth that led to his move to Huddersfield, has found first-team football difficult to come across with The Terriers.

Martin Allen has been a long-term admirer of the 26-year-old so expressed his pleasure at landing him, previous experience shows he is more than capable of doing a job for The Gills so it’ll be hoped he can help them kick on with their promotion bid to League One.
