Harry Lennon’s loan with Gillingham this time round is proving far more successful than the last with him featuring regularly, and also scoring goals from defence too.

An extension to this spell was confirmed on the Official Website heading into the weekend.

Lennon’s loan, initially a loan deal when he signed from Charlton at the start of October, has now been extended by a month to take him through until December 12th, with this extension inclusive of the game against Burton at Priestfield.

Only a week after coming to Gillingham he scored in the three-one win over Chesterfield with him them scoring the winner against Scunthorpe in a two-one win.

Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh said.

‘It’s great news that we have been able to extend Harry’s deal, he has been an excellent addition to our squad and has performed consistently well.

‘His defending has been first class and he’s also chipped in with a couple of important goals, we very much look forward to working with him again in the weeks ahead.’
