Gillingham reduced the deficit on League Two leaders Port Vale with a win at Carling Cup Finalists Bradford on Saturday.

Bradford had the better of the first half, with Stuart Nelson called upon to make some saves and another effort headed just over.

A Matt Duke save had denied Gillingham the lead, however this came just after the hour when Cody McDonald (64) continued his goalscoring form to break the deadlock.

Home side Bradford remain without a league win since Boxing Day as Gillingham held on to win 1-0.
