The season comes down on another season for Gillingham today with a home fixture against a Notts County side seeking a win to ensure that they’ll remain in League 1 with us next season.

We’re more than safe, and have been for many weeks, if not months – even if this wasn’t 100% ‘officially’ the case, even so we’ll want to end positively at Priestfield even if that does cost our visitors survival, relegating anyone isn’t something you ever want mind!

Changes were made for last Saturday’s defeat at Scunthorpe, which secured their survival, with Justin Edinburgh expected to do the same again today but Jake Hessenthaler, Ollie Muldoon and Luke Norris will all hope to keep places.

Bradley Dack, John Marquis – who could be playing his last game for the club, Josh Pritchard and Amari’i Bell could come in but with Mahlon Romeo departing by mutual consent ahead of this game he’ll not have the chance of a swansong.

Notts County have a doubt over Paddy McCourt, who was forced off injured a couple of weeks back and hasn’t returned as yet. Mustapha Dumbuya is also an injury doubt.

We’ll want to end with a win, the wins arguably of greater importance and priority to Notts County but it doesn’t mean we’ll not want this ourselves but can we end on a high?
